HAVANA - SANTIAGO DE CUBA:
Day 1: Pick up in Havana hotel and transfer to the domestic flight
terminal for a flight to Santiago de Cuba ( tickets included). On arrival to
Santiago, transfer to the selected hotel. Dinner. Free the rest of the journey.
Santiago de Cuba:
Day 2: Breakfast.City tour in Santiago de Cuba visiting the historical
centre from the Cespedes park and the surroundings where the most important
mansions of Santiago are located. Includes a visit to Moncada Garrison museum
, the Diego Velazquez museum, the Piracy museum and El Morro fortress . Lunch
included in El Pavo Real Restaurant.
In the afternoon a visit to Basilica del Cobre where Virgen de la Caridad del
Cobre is worshiped. Return to the hotel. Dinner. Free for the rest of the journey.
Santiago- Baracoa:
Day 3: Breakfast. Departure to Baracoa .City tour of the first villa
founded by Diego Velazquez in America in 1512 and the first Capital of Cuba.
Tour of the Rio Miel, visit to Nuestra Señora de la Concepción
Church. Here it is found the first cross brought by the Spanish to America,
it is said it was brought by Christopher Columbus. Visit to the Municipality
Museum, The Matachin Fort and the ruins of the coffee plantations introduced
in Cuba by the French families that migrated from Haiti. Visit the Cucuruchos
factory ( Cucuruchos are very sweet home made desserts based on coconut and
sugar ) Lunch in La Punta Restaurant. Accommodation and dinner in the selected
hotel. Free for the rest of the journey.
Baracoa:
Day 4: Breakfast . Tour on board of a Cayuca ( rustic boat ) by Toa
River . Bath in the river. Visit Duaba Farm. Lunch in site. Return to the hotel.
Free for the rest of the journey.
Baracoa- Cayo Saetia- Guardalavaca:
Day 5: Breakfast. Departure to Cayo Saetia . Lunch in site. In the
afternoon, time to enjoy the beach and the Jeep safari excursion. Accommodation
and dinner in Pesquero Hotel . Dinner. Free for the rest of the journey.
Guardalavaca- Holguin- Guardalavaca:
Breakfast . Departure to Holguin. City tour of the so called City of the Parks.
. Visits to Chorro de Maita archaeological museum, the Aldea Taina and Loma
de la Cruz. Lunch in Finca de Mayabe Restaurant. Excursion to Bahia de Naranjo
and its Dolphins site. Return to the Hotel.
End of the services:
